Emma Tan was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended the University of Houston Honors College where she studied political science, ethics, and English. In 2020, she began law school at South Texas College of Law. While still in school, she participated in the STCL Estate Clinic where she developed a passion for estate planning and probate. Emma Tan graduated and passed the Texas bar in 2023, making her the first lawyer in her family.
Outside of work, she enjoys knitting, spending time with family, and studying Latin.
