Client Intake Specialist – Houston

At Kreig LLC, the Client Intake Specialist leads consultations and converts inbound callers into engaged clients. This is an in-office role that owns the sales cycle for families who have already reached out for help settling an estate. If you are energized by conversations that lead to commitments, and you want that skill applied to work that genuinely matters to people, you will feel right at home here.

Kreig LLC serves clients across the entire state of Texas through six strategically located offices, including our Houston location. That reach keeps the pipeline steady — whether a matter arises in Harris County, the surrounding region, or anywhere else across Texas, families come to us looking for guidance, and you are the first person they speak with.

We are looking for someone with real sales experience — someone who has carried numbers, been measured, and knows how to guide a structured conversation toward a decision. If your background is retail, hospitality, call‑center customer service, or general “customer interaction,” this role is not a fit. Our systems, screening tools, and workflows are built to keep your attention on the conversation in front of you.

What You’ll Do

You’ll handle the majority of consultations from start to finish, backed by a structured process and a team that values clarity, communication, and professionalism.

  • Lead Intake Consultations: Take inbound calls from prospective probate clients and run a structured screening tool that guides every question.
  • Qualify Each Matter: Determine whether the matter fits a standard probate service, and route dispute or litigation, estate planning, and real estate questions to an attorney — either by scheduling time or asking a quick clarifying question.
  • Present Fees and Engage Clients: Present our published flat‑fee schedule with clarity and confidence, send the engagement letter, and collect payment directly for standard probate matters.
  • Keep the Pipeline Clean: Maintain accurate CRM notes, statuses, and follow‑ups so nothing goes cold.
  • Report on Performance: Report weekly on calls handled, matters completed, follow‑ups pending, revenue booked, and conversion rate.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a measurable sales track record who is comfortable being accountable to numbers and to a process.

  • Actual sales history — measurable performance, not just “customer interaction”
  • Comfort with weekly metrics, structured workflows, and consistent follow‑up
  • Confidence presenting fees clearly and without negotiating them
  • Ability to guide emotional conversations with calm professionalism
  • Preferred backgrounds include mortgage loan officers, insurance advisors, home‑services consultants, legal intake specialists, and paralegals with consultative phone experience

Clear Boundaries

This role is defined deliberately. You own the consultative cycle; attorneys handle legal decisions.

  • Inbound Only: Every call you take is from someone who already asked us for help.
  • No Legal Advice: You follow the decision tree; attorneys handle legal interpretation.
  • No Fee Negotiation: We publish a flat‑fee schedule and you quote from it. Discounts, adjustments, and anything off‑schedule go to an attorney.
  • Attorney Involvement by Exception: Attorneys step in for dispute or litigation, estate planning, and real estate questions.

Why This Role Matters

You’ll handle the majority of consultations so our attorneys can focus on legal work. You’ll run a clear, structured process that keeps the firm moving and gives leadership real visibility into the pipeline. And you’ll work with callers who need calm, steady guidance during a difficult time — helping them take the next step.

The pipeline is steady, the workflow is structured, and strong performers earn well.
